The Al Manar project has built human resources information warehouses that include information about students at different stages of education and information about the labor force (employed and unemployed); this information is used for planning, researches and studies, evaluation and comparisons, as well as for policy development.
Al Manar publishes three groups of indicators. The first group includes the annual publication of human resources indicators in Jordan since 2000; the second group presents a manual of higher education indicators; the third group presents a manual of labor market indicators.
Annual Bulletin of Human Resources Indicators
The Bulletin of Human Resources Indicators is an annual publication covering a variety of indicators in the fields of demography, education and the labor market. It starts with demographic indicators (total population, population density, fertility rate ....); then, it presents the most important educational indicators (the total number of students enrolled at all levels of education, the percentage of students in relation to the population ...); after, it reviews the most important indicators of the labor force (economic participation rate, unemployment rate, retirement rate, the proportion of the manpower in relation to the total population ....), as well as the proportion of employed and unemployed by educational level and age group and the proportion of workers by economic activity. Finally, the bulletin includes the most important indicators about expatriate workers (the distribution of migrant workers by nationality, educational level and economic activity).

Labor Market Indicators
The manual about labor market indicators provides a detailed explanation of the labor market indicators proposed by the International Labor Organization. These indicators include the labor force, unemployment, educational level, wages, and productivity. The manual defines the indicators, identifies the sources of data, identifies the mathematical equation and compares the Jordanian indicators with those of other countries.
